This amazing piece of property is located within the Estancia Los Murmullos, a 25,000 acre ranch dedicated to the breeding of Pedigree Hereford cattle. Managers, Nico and Ceci Botting have spent the past eight years managing some of the finer fly fishing properties in the world and now are looking to continue that tradition with Murmullos Lodge.  The lodge has over eight miles of the famous Carrileufu River bordering the ranch.  Murmullos Lodge puts anglers smack dab in the middle of some of the best fly fishing waters in South America.  Nico and his staff of guides fish the crystal waters of the Rivadavia River with its amazing combination of lush vegetation and huge wiley trout. Murmullos Lodge also offers an exclusive overnight camping excursion on the banks of the legendary Chubut River, a smaller river located in the patagonian steppe, where the numbers of fish being caught on dry fly can often boggle the mind. Other rivers fished are the Arrayanes, Frey and Grande plus the infamous Arroyo Pescado spring creek. They also take advantage of some of the stillwater locations just a short drive away including; the Rivadavia, Cholila, Menendez and Laguna Larga lakes.

The property has four single rooms all with queen sized beds and private baths that are connected to the main estancia. A comfortable living room complete with a beautiful fireplace and cozy couches is the perfect spot to taste some great Argentine Malbec wines and enjoy the excellent cuisine prepared daily by a professionally trained chef.  The estancia also offers an abundance of opportunities for non-anglers within the National Park such as glacier tours, horseback riding and various treks.

Anglers fly into either Santiago, Chile or Buenos Aires from many larger cities in the United States.  From there, fly direct to Esquel, Argentina where a member of the staff will be waiting with vehicle to escourt you three hours to the lodge.
