Saltwater
Saltwater & Beyond
Over 71% of the Earth's surface has been baptized by the ocean. These waters harbor the most diverse varities of fish an angler will ever encounter. This medium provides fishermen constantly changing habitats and environments to test their skills against some of the most elusive and strongest forms of life on the planet. Fish are not dispersed evenly thoguhout the oceans but are instead concentrated in specific areas close to coastlines. Many world class lodges have taken up root near these zones where fish are so plentiful, offering anglers great places to stay while in pursuit.
We can’t lie - we love to go after saltwater fish with a fly rod. We’ve spent countless hours over the last decade plus trying to catch as many varieties of fish as possible, travelling wherever the fly took us. We have fished with Captain James Wynne in New York City for striped bass with Old Lady Liberty gazing over our shoulder. We’ve floated around the Seychelles with Vaughn Driessel, casting green algae patterns to sipping milkfish all the while hearing sailfish surfacing behind our flats skiff, and the trip to the white sand beaches south of Cabo with Grant Hartman was far worth its weight in gold. Our adventures have further led us with guide, Dwain Neymour along the bank of some no-named lake on the interior of Andros Island, waking to swarms of mosquitoes, trying like us, to get a bite from a huge cubera snapper. The list goes on, but our point is, day trip or extended vacation, whether you’re just testing the waters or an experienced pro, New York to San Diego or Belize City to Dubai, we can get you started, for we all share a love for salt.
